I lead the research program of the Market Accelerator for Green Construction (MAGC) at the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries.
I hold a PhD and a master's degree in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and bachelor and master's degrees in economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. I am a member of the American Economic Association and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
My areas of expertise include economics, sustainability, private sector development, finance, and risk, and I am a pro-bono Advisory Committee member for GARP's Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certificate.
